Midnite Mine, Wellpinit, Washington (Under Construction)

This image was captured from an animation produced by AESE using 3D Studio (an MPEG will be available for download soon). This portion of the animation was made by draping a 1:6000 aerial photograph over the Geologic Shell Model (GSM) developed using AutoCad (note the rendered faces in the left fore-ground). The aerial photo has been enhanced using Adobe Photoshop. The animation also includes a morphing sequence from pre-mining conditions to today. The primary purpose of the animation was used to educate scientists, bureaucrats, lawyers and other decision makers during the EIS process.
